An aluminum croquet mallet offers a combination of strength, precision, and excellent feel at impact. This model features an aluminum head with composite striking caps and a carbon fiber shaft, a configuration designed for a smooth swing and a firm feel on impact with the ball.
The JC Croquet aluminum mallet combines an aluminum head, composite striking plates, and a carbon fiber shaft. It can be configured in different weights and heights and allows players to choose between a split or non-split carbon shaft, adapting the mallet to their individual preferences.
The choice of croquet mallet weight depends primarily on the feel and playing style of each player. This aluminum mallet is available in 1.150g, 1.250g, and 1.350g , allowing you to choose a configuration that best suits your personal swing and hitting preferences.
Both options retain the advantages of a carbon fiber croquet mallet . The main difference is that the divisible mallet can be separated, making it especially easy to transport and store, while the non-divisible model remains a single piece.
The height of the croquet mallet should be adjusted to the player to achieve a comfortable and natural playing position. This aluminum mallet is available in heights of 82, 85, 88, or 90 cm , and other sizes can be requested for greater customization.

All products, except for personalized mallets, can be returned within 10 days of receipt. Once the material has been received, a refund will be issued.

When buying a first deck, it is advisable to compare what we want to spend with the use and continuity over time that we are going to give it.
To begin with, a good option is a wooden head with composite end caps (brown, black, bacon, etc.) and an aluminum shaft. A mallet like this can last a lifetime and is obviously more economical. We have many wood options, but the choice is guided more by aesthetic preference than technical considerations. Keep in mind that we add internal weights or holes to the heads to achieve the desired overall weight. From a technical standpoint, the difference between an aluminum and a carbon fiber shaft is noticeable. If you plan to play regularly, you'll definitely appreciate the improvement.
Other options can be added that improve the inertia of the mallet somewhat, such as brass striking caps. These are more resistant and we will never see a deformation, chipping or fracture due to a violent blow to the rim or similar.
The "top" deck, in terms of performance in the game, is the full carbon deck. Since its price is higher and its performance is not appreciated until a certain level of play is reached, it may not be the best option if you are just starting out or if you are not going to spend a lot of time in the game.
We make the mallets personalized, this not only means that we can put the player's initials on them, but regardless of their type and configuration, we give them the weight and height that the player wants.
If you already have some playing experience, you probably know what weight suits you best; no problem, we can customize it. But if not, we would recommend an intermediate weight, around 1.300g. Some people think the ideal is the lightest possible mallet, but this isn't entirely accurate, even if you have joint problems or similar issues. Weight provides stability in the swing, launches the ball with less effort, and absorbs more of the impact vibration. Obviously, you have to find a balance.
You also have to customize the height of the set (head+club). Again, if you are not sure, we would recommend a medium-high height. But it is better if you can calculate it. You can do it in the following way:
- Using a mallet from someone you know or from your club, get into a hitting position as if you had the ball in front of you. You need to be comfortable. Measure from the ground to the top of your hands. This will be our reference. If you don't have a mallet handy, you can even use a broom or something similar.
